In this post, we will tell you more about our update and how to navigate it. Let\u2019s go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why did we divide chatbot flows into channels?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Probably, you have already noticed that from now on, when you go to the <em>Chatbot<\/em> section on our platform and click \u2018<em>Add new flow<\/em>\u2019, a new column appears in front of you on the left. The top drop-down menu is called \u2018<em>Channels<\/em>\u2019 and includes 8 elements. These are the channels where you can create your chatbot script.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Woo-hoo, so familiar social media messengers icons \ud83d\udc4b. Yep, from here you can easily create a new chatbot flow for any of the messengers shown below. But more on it in a sec \ud83d\udc47.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"512\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcrunch.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Chatbot-in-messenger-1024x512.png\" alt=\"Chatbot in messenger\" class=\"wp-image-866\" srcset=\"https:\/\/helpcrunch.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Chatbot-in-messenger-1024x512.png 1024w, https:\/\/helpcrunch.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Chatbot-in-messenger-300x150.png 300w, https:\/\/helpcrunch.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Chatbot-in-messenger-768x384.png 768w, https:\/\/helpcrunch.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Chatbot-in-messenger.png 1439w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>So, why did we come up with this division? <\/strong>We divided chatbot flows by channels as the social media messengers impose certain restrictions on the capabilities of the bot within their platforms.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for us, we plan to expand the set of our chatbot features for websites and apps as well as for the iOS and Android SDK, and these developments will go further than what social media can offer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus, after we introduce new capabilities, you will be able to set up more advanced bot scenarios for your website, while keeping it limited for messengers. Also, it\u2019s just much more convenient in case you want to run one bot flow on Instagram, and another one on the web.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to create a bot flow for social media messenger?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s say you want to create a chatbot scenario for Facebook Messenger. There are a few ways you can do this. It allows you to literally filter bot flows by channels and see all the bots per channel. To do that, you have to add a new custom inbox first.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How can you do that?
