And here we, once again, hasten to inform you about new improvements in HelpCrunch &#8211; <strong>we rolled out the React Native widget component!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s new?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>From now on, the HelpCrunch chat widget can be embedded directly into hybrid iOS\/Android apps built with React Native.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why is it good? It benefits users by providing support directly within your mobile product, without forcing customers to switch channels. All in all, this means much faster responses, fewer drop-offs, and a smoother support flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How does it work?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First, you have to install the component using one of two methods, depending on which app you are running &#8211; Android or iOS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1908\" height=\"1060\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcrunch.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/helpcrunch-react-native-component-installation.png\" alt=\"helpcrunch react native component installation\" class=\"wp-image-1821\" srcset=\"https:\/\/helpcrunch.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/helpcrunch-react-native-component-installation.png 1908w, https:\/\/helpcrunch.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/helpcrunch-react-native-component-installation-768x427.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1908px) 100vw, 1908px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Second, you will need to initialize the HelpCrunch widget in your app.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Third, you can start creating users, authenticating them, assigning IDs, and updating info.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All events, methods, and installation details for the component are available in our <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.helpcrunch.com\/en\/react-native\/react-native-chat-sdk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Knowledge Base documentation<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other updates and improvements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udcca We added the Rate Chat method to the Rest API. <\/strong>Now, chats can be rated not only by customers in the chat widget but also with the help of REST API requests. In other words, you can generate a chat in a third-party application and collect ratings after the chat has closed.
